The EUPPM.net project is approaching its first major milestone with remarkable momentum. We are pleased to announce that we have already received questionnaire responses from 32 countries, including 25 Member States of the European Union. This level of participation demonstrates not only the relevance of the initiative, but also the widespread desire across Europe to build a stronger, more connected community of public procurement professionals.
The engagement shown so far confirms that the need for a shared European space—capable of fostering dialogue, exchanging best practices, and strengthening the role of procurement managers—is both real and urgent. The early results of the questionnaire highlight a collective willingness to collaborate and co‑design the future of the profession.
To provide an update on the project’s progress and to prepare the next steps, we have scheduled an online meeting on 19 February at 14:00 (CET) via Zoom.
The meeting will serve three key purposes:
- Relaunching the questionnaire to ensure even broader participation.
- Clarifying any questions from participants. To make the session efficient, we kindly ask that all questions be submitted in advance by email.
- Introducing a new survey dedicated to shaping the content of the European Public Procurement Managers Conference, which will take place in Naples on 15–17 October 2026.
This next phase is essential to ensure that the October conference reflects the priorities, expectations, and strategic vision of the European community we are bringing together.
The path ahead is ambitious, but the enthusiasm shown by institutions across Europe confirms that we are moving in the right direction. EUPPM.net is becoming a shared platform, a meeting point, and a catalyst for innovation in public procurement.
We look forward to continuing this journey together.
