The EUPPM Network Takes Shape: European Public Buyers to Meet on April 22

The creation of the European network of public buyers — the EUPPM Network — is becoming increasingly concrete. After months of dialogue, mapping, and coordination among national organisations, the initiative is entering an operational phase: on April 22, a dedicated meeting will bring together communities and associations from across Europe.

The goal is clear: to build a stable, inclusive, and representative network that strengthens the role of public procurement professionals and promotes shared professionalisation across Member States.

The meeting will gather organisations that, in their respective countries, represent public buyers, support their training, advocate for their recognition, and contribute to the strategic development of procurement systems. It will be an opportunity to:

  • exchange organisational models
  • compare professionalisation strategies
  • identify common priorities
  • define next steps toward formalising the network

ASSORUP, promoter of the initiative, reaffirms its commitment to a more competent, more connected, and more visible European procurement community.

April 22 will mark a moment of collective construction, open, operational, and future-oriented.
